Performance Experience

Hiroko has performed extensively in Boston, New York City, Long Island, Germany, and Japan. She has made appearances on WQXR's "Listening Room", NHK Radio's "Afternoon Recital"(Japan), and Fuji TV (NY). Hiroko's formal NY debut at the (Carnegie) Weill Recital Hall was critically acclaimed by Joseph Horowitz of The New York Times, and her performance was followed by many successful solo recitals at the same hall.

Ms. Miyake's finger works was admirably crisp, accurate and articulate. The Mozart Sonata especially, abounded in thoughtful, sensitive details. Some of Ms. Miyake's most fiery and spontaneous playing came in the Chopin Scherzo. In Ravel Sonatine, she adroitly conveyed the music's ebb and flow.

Quotation The New York Times

It was a great discovery of a new talent . . . .

Quotation Musica Nova (Japan)

Her finger dexterity is amazing: her phrasing artistic and meaningful . . . all of which combined for an outstanding performance.
